Dr. Barbara Pitts currently serves as Sub Investigator, Alzheimer’s Research Unit and Memory Research Scientist, Hawaii BRAIN Lab. She completed her Postdoctoral Fellowship in Memory and Aging at Kansas State University, PhD in Applied Psychology at Catholic University of America, MSc in Developmental Neuropsychology at University of Essex.  She has served as sub investigator at our Alzheimer’s Research Unit since 2017 and We cannot be more thrilled to welcome her back to serve as sub investigator and research faculty at our Alzheimer’s Research Unit once again.  She has over 20 years of experience in clinical trials ratings, advancing psychological science through independent research, consulting, teaching, and mentoring students.  She will also be mentoring our medical students at the Hawaii BRAIN (Bridging Research & Innovation in Neuroscience) Lab.
