Hawaii Pacific Neuroscience is recognized nationally for our work in neuroscience research conducted at the Clinical Research Center and BRITL (Brain Research, Innovation & Translation Labs).  HPN’s robust clinical and academic research programs fosters a culture of innovation and collaboration.  Our faculty, residents and students work together whether working within Hawaii or in collaboration with other institutions around the US and international partners and collaborating institutions are published in PubMed indexed journals.

Faculty, residents and students working on manuscript and publications are expected to follow HPN Publication guidelines and NIH manuscript submission guidelines to protect intellectual property and rights of HPN database.

Unless special permission is granted, corresponding author and last (senior) author is customarily the “owner” of the database, which is usually the principal investigator or another senior mentoring faculty member so that future correspondence to the subject is directed to the “owner” of the database rather than a student or resident who has moved on.
