Nicole completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Saint Joseph’s College in 2009; continued her studies at University of North Florida earning a Master’s degree in Biology and a doctorate in Biomedical Science from the University of Florida in 2016. Her dissertation work was focused on respiratory function following mid cervical spinal cord injury. Nicole moved back to Ohio in 2017 and graduated with her Master of Physician Assistant Practice from the University of Dayton in 2019. She joined a local neurology group gaining experience in inpatient and outpatient care. She is board certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and the Hawaii Medical Board.
Dr. Little has had a passion for Neuroscience over the last 10 years and has participated in numerous conferences and presenting her work in Neural regeneration, and neuromuscular plasticity. She has participated in symposium planning for the society for the Neurosciences and brain awareness outreach programs across her community. Dr. Little puts her whole heart and effort into everything she does and does it with a spirit of excellence winning multiple awards and scholarships for her work including the completion of an NINDS-funded Spinal Cord Injury Training Program at Ohio State University.
Dr. Little’s extensive neuroscience experience is a huge asset to our community and Hawaii is fortunate to have such skill and talent serving our community.
