Allison A. Przekop, DO is Staff Neurologist & Director, Hawaii Neurodegenerative Disease Center at Hawaii Pacific Neuroscience Center, Honolulu, HI. She specializes in patients with Parkinson’s disease, dystonia, movement disorders.
Dr. Przekop completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of California-Davis, and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree at Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, California. She completed residencies in adult internal medicine and pediatrics prior to starting a neurology residency at Loma Linda University. She then completed fellowship training in adult and pediatric movement disorders at Stanford University.
She was an attending physician at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California. She is also a Neurology Consultant at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, California. Her clinical and research interests include the use of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation for dystonia; the use of botulinum toxin for the treatment of spasticity and dystonia.
